Thank you for letting us adopt Holly; her new name in Samy.

This was a family effort. My 80 year old mother had a Rottweiler for 8 years that she raised since it was a 5-week-old puppy. Unfortunately, she passed away suddenly about 5 months ago. We began our search for another companion for my mother with the full understanding that her beloved Samantha could never be replaced. Between my brother and I, we took her to see many dogs and none seem to be "the one" as far as my mother was concerned. That is, until we met Holly. We returned a few weeks later and were happily surprised that she was still available. It was love at first sight. The volunteers were very nice, especially Dianne. She was wonderful; she obviously cares very much about these animals. At the same time, she could see that my mother had fallen in love with this puppy.

We drove her to her new home in Tampa, the same day. She slept the whole way there and woke up as soon as we got to the front of the house. She walked in like she new this was her home. We all are very much in love with her. She's a sweet girl.

Please tell Diane that her girl has become my mother's shadow and somehow knows to be gentle around her. Samy sleeps in my mother's room every night, helps dig out yuca plants, plays ball and goes for walks every morning. My brother walks her every night; he can't believe how perfect she is. Samy has even won my sister over who didn't like big dogs, until now.

Thank you very much,
