Burglary Update: June 15, 2010

We want to bring you up to date on all that has happened in the past week since we notified you of the burglary at our new adoption center. The outpouring of assistance from the community has been tremendous with news coverage by TV-20, generous donations of time, effort and monetary assistance. Thanks to all for this incredible support; we are getting close to our goal of replacing the air conditioners and opening our new adoption facility on schedule. Many thanks to all who have helped us as we look to save even more lives in the near future.

We will kick off the new adoption center on Friday, June 25th and Saturday, June 26th with a big garage sale and adoptions of purrfect cats and kittens and our crew of absolutely adorable adoptable dogs. Sale hours 8 am-1 pm, adoption hours 12-5 pm. We are located at 8714 SR 21, just 1 mile north of the light in Melrose.

We sure are excited and hope you might join us as we take the next step of helping rescue and find homes for even more animals than ever before. With this new facility we will arrange adoptions both out of this site in Melrose and out of PetSmart in Gainesville where our program will continue unchanged each Saturday and Sunday.
