October 24. Florida Leaders in Lifesaving Summit. Executive Director Meghann O’Brien will be attending to represent PHF at this summit to inform plans for 2025 and beyond to increase lifesaving in Florida.

October 26. On Saturday 10/26 we will be holding a special adoption event from 11:00 - 3:00 for dogs and puppies only at Animal Veterinary Clinic (AVS) at 16245 Newberry Rd in Newberry. Cats and kittens will be at PetSmart in Butler Plaza on Archer Rd in Gainesville. Adoption fees will be waived for all pets 6 months and older thanks to AVS, the ASPCA, and Subaru of Gainesville!

October 27. UF Student Volunteer work day at The Melrose Center.

October 29. Grab your pup and join us for Yappy Hour at The Swamp Restaurant (1104 SW 2nd Ave in Gainesville) on Tuesday October 29th from 5-7PM. There will be a dog costume contest, raffles, drink specials and our adorable dogs and puppies available for adoption on the spot! Tito’s Vodka will be hosting raffles and awards. Have fun for a good cause!
