Grab your pup and join us for Yappy Hour at The Swamp Restaurant (1104 SW 2nd Ave in Gainesville) on October 29th from 5-7PM. There will be a dog costume contest, raffles, drink specials and our adorable dogs and puppies available for adoption on the spot! Tito’s Vodka will be hosting raffles and awards. On Saturday 10/26 we will be holding a special adoption event from 11:00 - 3:00 for dogs and puppies only at Animal Veterinary Clinic (AVS) at 16245 Newberry Rd in Newberry. Cats and kittens will be at PetSmart in Butler Plaza on Archer Rd in Gainesville. Adoption fees will be waived for all pets 6 months and older thanks to AVS, the ASPCA, and Subaru of Gainesville!

PHF will have information and adoptable animals at the Alachua County Public Schools Health and Wellness Fair on Monday, October 21, from 8am to 6pm. Join us at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center, 4870 Celebration Pointe Ave, Gainesville, FL 32608.

We’re holding another giant yard sale at the Melrose Adoption Center, 8714 State Road 21, on Saturday 10/19 from 8am to 2pm. And man, do we have stuff! Seasonal, collectibles, housewares and glassware, pet supplies, kid stuff, adult stuff, old people stuff — come see! All proceeds benefit our adoption program.
