Pocket was a Fighter

Little Pocket had it hard from the start. She was heartworm positive and on the euthanasia list at a county shelter when we pulled her. But she thrived in her foster home, wiggly and happy and sweet. Sadly, while being treated for heartworms she ate some toxic Sago Palm and became very sick. She was treated at two veterinary hospitals, put on an IV and feeding tube, and ultimately moved from critical to palliative care. Through everything, she never stopped wagging her tail and loving on her friends. We couldn’t save Pocket, but she fought to live and we gave her a fighting chance. Please check out the GoFundMe to help us cover the cost of Pocket’s care and donate if you can. Let Pocket’s memory help us give other animals a chance.
